My Faves-FEBRUARY, MARCH, & APRIL

Yup...I'm going to do these months all at once. So I can be caught up. Don't hate. 

DADDIO: I love my dad. He's great. He's been through A LOT. And still teaches me. He taught me to love lotsa stuff...like baseball & fish. I talk to him almost every day. He's a pretty rad dad.

SCRUBS: Dang I LOVE this show! I have every season on DVD & I will watch the repeats no matter what. It makes me laugh over & over. If you need to borrow it you can. I want you to laugh too! Then we can enjoy it together. 

SPRING: It's finally here! YAY! I love spring. Really I do. The flowers, everything is green & the best part...NO MORE SNOW! Bring on the sunshine! 

MY NEW HOUSE: Tis true. We bought a house! & it's brilliant! The space! The new house smell! The garage! The KITCHEN! The view! And it's all mine! Until the HOA comes & tells me what I can & can't do. Bring it. {I shall post pictures soon.}

My Faves-January 2009

Well hello new year. Let's see if we are going to be friends. (even if it's april...I'm WAY behind.)

Eric Hutchinson-Sounds Like This- So I went to his concert this month & I'm not going to lie...he was even better then I thought. I just kinda found him by accident & got his album & fell in LOVE with it. {and him} I have a thing for dorky guys I guess. But he was about the nicest musician I've meet. Yes, I did meet him. The picture is below. Fave song-Outside Villanova.

P90X- So we got the videos. No I haven't done the whole thing yet, but by golly I love me some Tony Horton. He is ripped & pushes me. My Faves of his disks are...YOGA X, KEMPO X, CARDIO X, & AB RIPPER X. They leave you sore & tired. If I ever do the full 90 days I promise I will post my before & after pictures. 

Photo shoots by Nathan Evans- So I guess I should let you all know that somedays I wish I was a model. I know I'm not tall enough or thin enough...but it's fun to dress in clothes & get all done up. I would do it everyday in exotic places. But I took these photos with Nathan to help a friend. She should have won. 

Green Tea- So it has been FREEZING this winter. I hate being cold. So every morning I make myself a hot thermos of green tea with some Splenda. It really helps with the cold mornings. Although it does make my teeth a bit stained. Good thing I can get whitening bleach whenever I need it. 

Writing- When it's cold out I don't like to go out....I don't do all those snow activities. So I keep myself busy by writing. Nothing better then to keep your mind active.  It soothes me. Plus I got a rad journal for Christmas.

PHOENIX-It's Never Been Like That- Just heard about these guys not too long ago and finally gave them a listen. Love this album. It's really really good & different too. They are from Paris, France. Must be why I love em.  

DIRTY JOBS- Ok. I have the BIGGEST crush on Mike Rowe. He is on my top 5 for sure! May even be top 3. But his show makes me laugh & want to puke all @ the same time...not even because I'm laughing so hard. It makes me wish I had a dirty enough job so he can come get dirty with me. 

M.A.C.- Not to be confused with Apple which I also LOVE. These cosmetics are superb. I just recently got into this part of glam & boy do these eye shadows make you feel chic! One day I hope to have as many colors as Kim. 

BJ'S RESTAURANT- The best pizza EVER! Whilst in California we went here. We always have to go cause I'm obsessed with this pizza! It's deep dish pizza & I always get it with pineapple! Plus they have PIZOOKIES!  Bring on the calories! 

ELF- Could Will Ferrell be any better then this? A human raised by elves?! This may be the best Christmas show ever. Next to A Christmas Story of course. But I love Buddy the elf & the cotton-headed-ninny-muggins he is. So if I ever answer the phone, "Buffy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" You'll know what I'm watching! 

So this is Christmas....

Let's be honest. Christmas is not my favorite time of the year. I know, I know. How un-American of me. But I hate the crowds & the music...wow do I hate the music. I mean of it's good. But the music that you hear that's the same song just sung by a different singer. Don't you think "Little Drummer Boy" should be sung by a boy? Well I do....I'd like to see Kanye come out with a Christmas CD. That'd be dope.
Enough about music..for now. I do love to give during this season. If fact I have a bit of a problem with it. I always want to give too much. But alas...I'm not as rich as I hoped to be. One day perhaps. 
So this Christmas I got to go HOME! So Cal is so nice & warm during Christmas time! I do love that!

Oh San Clemente...how I love you.
So we got down there early Christmas Eve morning. Slept for a bit woke up & drove some more. Up to Pasadena for a Daniel family Christmas.
We got there late...thanks to good ol' LA traffic. The food was good. Beer pong was fun...we played & they drank. So its MORE fun when you are bad at ping pong & all your cousins are getting more & more drunk as the game goes by. I love my cousins...they are the best! Then just some good games & good conversation.

Then back home. It's Christmas Eve!! I was feeling sick so I drugged myself. Plus I can never sleep Christmas eve so it was good for me. I still woke up @ like 7. Now onto the cornucopia of presents.






Jack got ahold of this present & chewed the CD..I gave it to my dad anyway...I think he liked it. I gave him an itunes card too. Just incase the CD didn't work.

3 teams my family LOVES...ANGELS, COLTS, & UCLA! I think we have enough Angels paraphernalia to dress the whole baseball team itself.

Her violin is the cutest & tiniest thing! She played 'Jolly ol Saint Nicholas' for me! & when she messed up she just looked @ me & smiled! Love it!

My faves....NOVEMBER 2008

So I got this idea...Nay, I stole this idea from another site. But I liked it & my gosh I'm gonna use it. So there. Here is a list of my favorite things. I'm going to start back in November. Since I just did a post on Thanksgiving.

Coldplay-Viva La Vida- I saw them this month & wow was it great. Those boys know how to put on a show. It was a music video, concert, & dance party all in one. Way worth the money! Plus they make you feel like they are really there for you. Even after all these years...they still care. Plus I LOVE England. 

The iPhone- So I'm still vintage with this phone. No 3G needed here. Just give me my 16g & I'm good. I do love it. iPod, phone, camera all in one. Plus I can check my email & google whatever, whenever! What more could you ask for? Not to mention you get to go chill with genius' whenever you want. 

Jack- I love my dog. He lets me mess with him all the time. The other day I put a bow around his head like he was a girl. Poor dog. But he deals with it. I guess he knows if he didn't I wouldn't give him treats. 

Time off- One of the best things about working in a dental office is the fact that I get good vacation. Like for Thanksgiving I get a good 4 & 1/2 days off. I only work 4 day weeks.  Plus I get paid Thanksgiving. What more could you ask for then to get paid while you stuff your face then sleep it off? 

Fall- The colors of Fall are beautiful. Growing up in California you don't see the leaves change. But now that I'm close to the mountains I get to see all the colors of Autumn. I love it...but then I remember that Winter is coming & I get a bit nervous. 

A bit of Thanksgiving...

Remember Thanksgiving...try hard. It was like 2 months ago. Well I'd like to share my experience.
So this year was Thanksgiving with the LIECHTY'S. And there are like a billion of them. So every Thanksgiving they rent out a huge house or cabin to fit us all. This year it was @ the Northgate Mansion in Provo.
This place is HUGE! It sleeps 50 {almost enough to fit us all} I don't even think I found all the bathrooms, but there are like 10 of them. Oh & it had 2 playhouses....

I finally got to go. Me=Hermione & Jeff=Harry, just to clear that up.

Jeff defeated the Dragon...it was BRILLIANT! Then if you go on down the hall you meet up King Tut & Cleopatra in the giant theater room.

Oh my Oh my...

I got to go to COLDPLAY!

They have been one of my favorite bands for the past..hmm...well every since Yellow. Whenever that was. But oh it was fun! We went with Jesse & Jeanette! although our seats were {almost the last row} it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to in my day. & believe me...I've seen my share of shows! They are just great performers. It was a concert & music video all in one. I loved it & would have followed them.
We were like giddy little school girls while we waited for them....well at least I was.

Lovers in Japan. One day I will be a lover in Japan. I love this song. It could be my favorite. But I can't pick just one.
It was a fabulous night. One of my patients won a 40 min piano lesson with Chris. I couldn't believe it. She's the luckiest lady ever. So are all those people in the back that got to go to the front. Lucky little bits.
